Rebecca Chan (violin)

|  | Rebecca Chan (violin) is a Core Player of Australia Pro Arte Chamber Orchestra with whom she has played for much of the past three years. She is a casual member of the Melbourne Symphony Orchestra and is a member of the Hamer Quartet.
Rebecca holds degrees in Medicine and Arts from the University of Melbourne and undertook her music studies at the university’s Conservatorium. She furthered her musical studies at the Australian National Academy of Music.
Chan has won prizes in the Gisborne International competition (NZ), the Hephzibah Menuhin Award and was a finalist in the 2005 Dorcas Maclean Scholarship.
