Lerida Delbridge (violin)

|  | Lerida Delbridge (violin) is a Core Player with Australia Pro Arte Chamber Orchestra. She commenced playing with the group in 2004 and performed as a soloist in 2005. Lerida is also a member of the of the TinAlley String Quartet, winner of the Banff International String Quartet Competition, 2007.
She has performed as soloist, chamber musician and orchestral player throughout Australia, Asia, Europe and America.
Lerida has appeared as a principal player with the Tasmanian Symphony Orchestra, Australian Youth Orchestra and Geminiani Orchestra.
A recipient of numerous awards, including an Ian Potter Cultural Trust Grant, Lerida was a major prizewinner in the 2000 Gisborne International Music Competition. She has studied at the International Holland Music Sessions and the International Menuhin Music Academy, Switzerland and completed a Doctor of Musical Arts at the University of Melbourne in 2006.
